NYU-ECNU Institute for Social Development at NYU Shanghai
NYU-ECNU Institute for Social Development at NYU Shangha brings together the scholars and professionals at the East China Normal University School of Social Development (ECNU SSD) in Shanghai, China with the faculty members at the NYU Silver School of Social Work (NYU SSSW).
The Institute will sponsor world-class research that informs social policy and practice, prominent academic programs that are locally and globally relevant, and conferences and professional training activities that contribute to the outstanding academic reputation of NYU Shanghai and both sponsoring institutions.
The brand new NYU Shanghai academic building will be completed in Summer 2014. Located on Century Avenue in Pudong, the new building includes a 300-seat auditorium for future conferences, forums and summer schools of NYU Shanghai.
